"Nature never did betray the Heart that loved her." Wordsworth
About
Since childhood I have enjoyed a deep and sustained relationship with the natural world. Mother Earth speaks to me and I listen: My bond with her is so intimate that I feel her in the very essence of my being - she is the guiding force for the way I live my life.
I always see things Positively . . .
We live in times of great change - probably the greatest ever collective challenge faced by humanity. Mankind appears to be going through a shift in consciousness which is accompanied by uncertainty and insecurity at every possible level, and this is causing many people to question the meaning and purpose of their lives, and become aware of a need within them that cannot be satisfied by material possessions alone.
More than 30 years campaigning on environment, sustainability and climate change issues, combined with almost a lifetime developing a transformative spiritual practise has provided me with the tools to approach my life and work with enthusiasm, optimism and hope for an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just society.
I always do things Professionally . . .
With a background in both the corporate and the voluntary sectors, and with wide- ranging project management, political and advocacy experience, I have worked with a huge range of partners and collaborators from a former US Vice President to politicians, business leaders, indigenous groups and grass-roots activists. In every aspect of my work, I always conduct all dealings and interactions with clients, suppliers or others honestly, ethically, and to the higest possible standards.
My work is what I am - not just what I do.
I always try to Walk the Talk . . .
I firmly support Social and Ethical Enterprise and I'm committed to integrity, quality and beauty, so I believe that it's my responsibility to make a difference. It is also my responsibility to ensure that my business is not just as 'green' as it should be, but that it is able to give something back to support communities and good causes as a 'more than profit' enterprise.
My Aims
* To include environmental and ethical considerations into all of my daily and project
activities.
* To implement environmentally responsible and ethical purchasing policies.
* To reduce, recycle and reuse any waste on my premises.
* To minimise and control the use of energy and reduce my carbon footprint.
* To maximise the use of efficient and sustainable transport options.
* To provide a minimum of two days pro-bono services each month to relevant charities
and good causes.
* To invest any profits into relevant charities and good causes.
